In a bleak future dominated by criminal gangs, a scientist known only as Doc becomes the body disposal specialist for the nefarious Boss in a cellar five floors below ground.

Translated by James Kirkup from Friedrich Dürrenmatt's German play, "Der Mitmacher. Ein Komplex" ("The Collaborator: A Complex"), written in 1972 and first performed on Thursday 8th March 1973, in Zurich's Schauspielhaus (main theatre).
