Maurice Greene (2-5): Suite in F, for harpsichord
D.Scarlatti (6): Sonata L462: Fugue, Dm (7): Sonata L463, D
J.H.Roman (8-10) Suite no. 1, (11-14) Suite no. 2
O.Gibbons (15-16) Fancy, Gamut Flatt; Fantasia in Dm
Maurice Greene (17-19): Suite in F, (20-23): Suite in A
F.Chopin (24) A rarity - Fugue in A minor
The Alessandro Scarlatti piece is lively and
well-suited to the piano. Maurice Greene's
suites are attractive and well worth hearing.
The Domenico Scarlatti pieces show great
originality. J.H.Roman is a little-known
composer from Denmark. The Chopin fugue
has only recently become available, through
IMSLP; it's probably an early work.
