David Goodland Radio Plays

David Goodland is an actor and writer. He has appeared on radio, television and stage. He played Ivor Gurney in "Do Not Forget Me Quite" for BBC television and in "Stars in a Dark Night" for Channel 4. On stage he has appeared as Gurney in "Songs On Lonely Roads", "Only the Wanderer" and "Nightwalker"; he has also recorded some of his poetry. He has made over 600 recordings for BBC Radio, and four of his own radio plays have been broadcast.

This play was set against the backdrop of a gay club in Bristol called The Old Queen. The drag queen Darcy is told that his act is to be replaced by a karaoke machine. With the help of his manager and his Mum, he tries to find a solution. With Ronald Pickup and John Duttine.

THE VOICE OF ANGELS....2004
Jan 2004. True story of the "Liverpool Poisoning Case" in the summer of 1889 made international headlines when 28-year-old American Florence Maybrick was tried for the murder of her husband James. But Florence put forth an extraordinary defence. With Fiona Clarke, Margaret Robertson, Angus Wright, Alexander Delamere, Kenneth Alan Taylor, Joseph Millson, and Vashti Maclachlan.
