Potatoes - Majestic

Scottish, 1911. Maincrop. Bred by Archibald Findlay; a seedling of British Queen. At one time (middle 1900s) the most widely grown potato in England. Good reliable yield in pots - usually over 2lb. Tubers look a bit rough, but they are good flavoured, floury if kept until after Christmas, and cook pretty well in most ways. Flowers white.
