Ekegusii Encyclopedic Projects
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

(a) To raise, mobilize and disburse funds and other resources for the promotion of the objects of the organization.

(b) To publish and distribute learning materials in the vernacular in the promotion and preservation of Ekegusii as an ethnic language.

(c) To promote the culture, traditions and values of the ethnic group through seminars, workshops and tutorials.

(d) To establish or assist in establishment of libraries, information centers and publish newsletters, brochures, periodicals, books and other publications as the board might deem desirable for the promotion of the objects of the organization.

(e) To establish or assist learning institutions that promotion the ethnic group’s cultural traditions and values.

(f) Seek to promote the language’s dynamism with the advent of new and emerging technology and in the face of new global experiences

(g) To promote the preservation of endangered ethnic languages nationally and internationally.

(h) Educating the public on the importance of preserving cultural traditions and values and on the benefits consequential thereto including the sanctity of the family as a vehicle and embodiment of human values.

(i) To establish links with other institutions with similar objectives locally and internationally.

(j) To employ advisors and experts and other staff for all or any of the objects of the organization.

(k) To apply to any lawful authority, public bodies, corporation, companies or persons for and to accept grants or gifts of money and of any movable or immovable property, donations gifts, subscriptions and other assistance with a view of promoting the objects of the organization and, in taking of any gift or property to take the same subject to any special trust which may be prescribed by the donor thereof.

(l) To establish an endowment fund to receive grants, donations, gifts and other assistance in any form whatsoever from Kenya or from any other source for any one or more of the objects of the organization and to establish a non-profit making foundation in any country or countries for the purposes of receiving donations from private and corporate persons and for the channeling of the same to the organizations operations.

(m) To promote or assist the promotion of any organization, company or other body having objects similar to those of the organization.

(n) To draw, execute or otherwise deal with negotiable or transferable instruments.

(o) To lend and advance money or give credit to employees of the organization upon such security as may be thought proper, or without taking any security therefore upon such terms as the Board of the Organization may think fit and to guarantee the performance of any contract or obligation guarantees and identities for the employee of the Organizations.

(p) To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the above objects.

(q) To invest the money in the organization not immediately required in any one or more of the modes of investment of trust monies or in such other manner as the board of the organization may from time to time determine.
